Materials and Process

The materials used to manufacture ECOS jewels are wood, bronze, silver, string and Swarovski chrystals.

The Honeycomb eco-carton and the jute is the material which the displays are made from that You can find in the stores with our jewels on sale.

The wood inserts are obtained from recovered industrial production scraps and are carefully selected for best quality and design.

Still following the same eco-sustainability perspective the packaging is entirely made from recovered “Caudex” wood.

It’s a sandwich material made of scraps coming from wood production process and cellulose material made with a patented system.

This material is realized without felling any tree.

The wood types currently used by ECOS are mahogany, walnut, cherry, ash and oak.

All products are made from precious metals in respect of the tradition and to embellish the creations.

The precious metals are also selected and processed following environmental eco-sustainability principles.

All the selected suppliers comply with the environmental rules in force and we are currently working on a new project to search melted metal coming from recovered old necklaces and from production scraps as well in order to get a 100% eco-friendly product.

The honeycomb carton is recyclable and eco-friendly.

It complies with the ISO 9001-2008 quality standards and with the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).

The used materials comply with the REACH certification and European standards which guarantee the absence of harmful substances that might come into contact with the skin.
